D6 Quincy Sign Shop Mobile Office Plumbing Service- REBID

Background
The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) is issuing this contract for plumbing services to support the installation of sewer and water lines for a temporary mobile office trailer located at 509 N. 40th St., Quincy, IL 62301.

The mobile office is expected to remain operational for a minimum of five years, necessitating reliable plumbing connections to the city’s main sewer and water systems.

Work Details
The selected Vendor will perform the following tasks: conduct a site survey to identify the mobile office trailer location and existing utility lines; confirm zoning and permits required for installation; identify obstacles for trenching; submit utility layout plans; ensure access points for maintenance; connect sewer and water lines to the trailer’s plumbing system with appropriate fittings; ensure compliance with local plumbing codes; install durable sewer pipes with specified diameters and slopes, including cleanouts and backflow preventers; install water lines made of approved materials (Copper, CPVC, or PEX) with specified diameters, backflow preventers, shutoff valves, and meter installations.

The installation must comply with local building regulations and include pressure testing of all lines. The Vendor will also be responsible for obtaining approved design plans, permits, completing site surveys, testing for leaks, backfilling trenches, overseeing site restoration, and providing a final project report with compliance documentation.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon execution and will last for an initial term of 12 months. The total term may not exceed ten years including any renewals or extensions.

All services will be performed at 509 N. 40th St., Quincy, IL 62301.

Bidder Requirements
The Vendor must be a licensed contractor experienced in sewer and water line installations. All personnel involved must be properly trained and certified as required by local regulations. Subcontractors are not allowed under this contract.
