Custody Services

Background
The Northeast Illinois Regional Commuter Railroad Corporation, doing business as Metra, is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) No. 172636 for Custody Services. Metra's mission is to provide safe and reliable commuter rail service in the Chicago metropolitan area. The goal of this contract is to secure professional custody services that meet the operational needs of Metra.

Work Details
The Consultant will perform Custody Services as specified in the attached Exhibits. This includes but is not limited to:

- Managing custody operations
- Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Maintaining accurate records
- Providing timely reports on custody activities

The Consultant must utilize skilled personnel and ensure all services are performed in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Period of Performance
The contract period shall be five (5) years from the date of Notice to Proceed issued by Metra's Professional Services Procurement Department.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at locations designated by Metra within the Chicago metropolitan area.

Bidder Requirements
Consultants must submit certificates of insurance satisfactory to Metra, signed subcontracts with Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) sub-consultants, and a project schedule with submittal milestones within thirty (30) calendar days after receiving a Notice of Award. Additionally, all personnel performing services must possess any required licenses.
