Construction Management Engineering Services for Facilities & Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Projects

Background
The Northeast Illinois Regional Commuter Railroad Corporation, known as Metra, is seeking Letters of Interest and Qualifications (LIQ) from qualified consulting firms for a Blanket Contract for Construction Management Engineering Services.
This contract aims to support Facilities and Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) construction projects within Metra’s service area.
The goal is to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of construction management in these critical infrastructure projects.

Work Details
The selected consultant will provide Construction Management Engineering Services for Facilities & MEP Projects.
Specific services include:
1. Overseeing construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
2. Coordinating with contractors and subcontractors to facilitate project execution.
3. Preparing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
4. Conducting inspections and quality assurance checks throughout the construction process.
5. Assisting in the procurement of materials and equipment necessary for project completion.
6. Ensuring all work complies with applicable local, state, and federal regulations.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of five years from the Notice to Proceed letter issued by Metra's Professional Services Procurement Department.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed within Metra’s service area in Northeast Illinois.

Bidder Requirements
Consultants must demonstrate compliance with Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goals set at 25%.
Additionally, they must submit a certificate of insurance satisfactory to Metra prior to contract award, maintain required licenses, and ensure that all personnel involved are qualified for their respective roles.
