Background
The Department of Central Management Services (CMS) is seeking to lease approximately 18,000 square feet of general office space in Cook County, specifically within the boundaries defined in Exhibit A.
The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to gather responses from potential vendors who can meet the agency's needs for office space to house the Department of Human Services.

Work Details
The contract involves leasing a property that meets the following specifications:
- Size: Approximately 18,000 square feet of rentable area.
- Proposed Use: Office space for the Department of Human Services.
- Lease Duration: Initial term of five years with an optional renewal term of five years.
- Location: Must be within specified boundaries in Cook County, Chicago, Illinois (North: 31st Street; South: 79th Street; East: Western/Damen Avenue; West: Harlem Avenue).
- Configuration Requirements include necessary fixtures for heating, cooling, water, electricity, maintenance and repairs, installation and maintenance of ventilation systems, elevator service, life safety systems maintenance, cleaning services, pest management services, snow and ice removal, and parking facilities with at least 45 spaces including ADA-accessible spots.
The property must comply with Building Program Standards as outlined in the solicitation.

Period of Performance
The lease will have an initial term of five years with an option to renew for an additional five years.

Place of Performance
The leased property must be located within the specified boundaries in Cook County, Chicago, Illinois.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must have an active registration in the Illinois Procurement Gateway (IPG) to respond to this RFI.
They are required to submit necessary documentation including Disclosure for Leasing Vendors or IPG Active Registered Disclosure for Leasing Vendors depending on their registration status.
Compliance with accessibility codes and laws is mandatory.
