Background
The City of Rockford is issuing a solicitation for city-wide street repairs under Group No. 2 for the year 2025, specifically targeting residential areas. The goal of this contract is to enhance the infrastructure by repairing and maintaining the streets, ensuring safety and accessibility for residents.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for various tasks including but not limited to:

- Earth Excavation (110 C.Y.)
- Parkway Restoration (1 Lsum)
- Inlet and Pipe Protection (192 Each)
- Aggregate Base Repair (1497 S.Y.)
- Bituminous Materials (15580 Gal)
- Hot-Mix Asphalt Binder Course (500 Tons)
- Hot-Mix Asphalt Surface Courses (775 Tons and 19650 Tons)
- P.C.C. Approach Pavement (1713 S.Y. and 458 S.Y.)
- Sidewalk Removal (90400 S.F.)
- Concrete Surface Removal (5300 S.Y.)
- Traffic Control and Protection (1 Lsum)
- Thermoplastic Pavement Markings in various sizes.

The total quantity of items includes adjustments to manholes, inlets, and curb and gutter removals.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over the course of the year 2025, with specific timelines to be determined based on project phases.
