The City of Aurora, IL is seeking to procure a solar-powered mobile camera trailer to enhance situational awareness and security coverage across key retail areas. Work Details
The contract involves the provision of a fully assembled solar-powered camera trailer with the following specifications:
- **Trailer Specifications**:
- Solar panels generating a minimum of 1300 watts.
- A solar controller with minimum 40A MPPT.
- White single axle trailer with removable ball hitch.
- Minimum of 4 support legs/outriggers.
- Cabling for mast support in strong winds.
- Red/blue strobe light kit.
- **Solar Power System**:
- Minimum of 6 rechargeable batteries (150Ah).
- Ability to run on or charge via 'shore power'.
- Motorized mast extending to at least 23 feet (preferably 29 feet).
- Equipment mounting box at the top of the mast.
- **Communication and Connectivity**:
- Minimum of 2 network cables and 4 power cables wired through spring cable from chassis to top of mast.
- Remotely accessible power monitoring system.
- 2 cellular modems (5G capable) with Wi-Fi (SIM cards provided by City).
- Ability to access cameras through Digital Watchdog.
- **Surveillance Equipment**:
- Includes 2 Axis Q6318-LE PTZ cameras and 1 Axis P3747-PLVE Quad camera mounted on the equipment box.
- **Delivery & Installation**:
- Delivery to Aurora Police Department at specified address during business hours.
- Installation and integration of all components.
