A/E Services New Healthcare Facility DOC - BP# 266

Background
The County of Cook is seeking architectural and engineering services for the development of a new healthcare facility at the Department of Corrections. This initiative aims to enhance healthcare delivery within the correctional system, ensuring that inmates receive adequate medical attention.

The project is part of the Cook County Department of Capital Planning and Policy's efforts to improve infrastructure and services in line with public health standards.

Work Details
The Consultant will provide a range of services including but not limited to: conducting site assessments, preparing design documents, providing construction administration, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and regulations, and delivering various reports and analyses as outlined in Exhibit 1 (Statement of Work).

Additionally, the Consultant is responsible for producing deliverables such as written reviews, recommendations, and detailed project plans. All work must meet the standards of performance specified in the agreement.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon approval by the Cook County Board and will continue until all services are completed or until terminated as per the contract terms. Specific timelines for deliverables will be detailed in Exhibit 1.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at designated locations within Cook County, specifically at sites related to the Department of Corrections.

Bidder Requirements
Consultants must comply with minority and women-owned business enterprise commitments as per Cook County Ordinance. They are required to maintain appropriate licenses for their profession, ensure adequate staffing throughout the contract duration, and provide evidence of insurance coverage as specified in the agreement.
