5 Day Janitorial L6429 Champaign

Background
The State of Illinois, through the Central Management Services (CMS), is seeking to establish a contract for janitorial services at L6429, located at 313 N Mattis Avenue, Champaign, Illinois 61821. The mission of this contract is to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in state facilities that do not have dedicated janitorial staff, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for employees and the public. This contract is specifically set aside for Small Business Set-Aside (SBSA) vendors.

Work Details
The vendor will provide five-day janitorial services which include:

- Thorough cleaning of restrooms using ammonia disinfectant and stronger acid disinfectant for toilet bowls.
- Daily replenishment of consumables like toilet paper and soap.
- Mopping floors with a cleaning solution.
- Vacuuming carpets.
- Emptying wastebaskets with proper liners.
- Collecting recyclables.
- Cleaning walls and mirrors.
- Maintaining cleanliness in lunchroom areas.

Additional tasks include:

- Twice-weekly cleaning of entryway glass.
- Weekly spray buffing of tile areas.
- Semi-annual shampooing of carpets.
- Washing blinds.
- Stripping/refinishing tile areas.

The vendor must also ensure all employees are paid prevailing wages as required by law.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on August 1, 2025, and will run through January 31, 2032.

Place of Performance
All services will be performed at L6429, 313 N Mattis Avenue, Champaign, Illinois 61821.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have an active registration in the Illinois Procurement Gateway (IPG) to submit a bid. This contract is set aside for SBSA vendors. Vendors are required to pay their employees at least the prevailing wage rates as mandated by law. Subcontractors are not allowed under this contract.
