Background

Work Details
The contract will involve providing emergency shelter services, including but not limited to:
- Temporary housing solutions for individuals and families in crisis.
- Supportive services such as case management, job training, and access to healthcare.
- Coordination with local agencies and organizations to ensure comprehensive support for homeless individuals.
- Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding the provision of these services.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of one year from the date of award, with an option for renewal based on performance and funding availability.

Place of Performance
Services will be provided within the City of Rockford, Illinois.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with the following requirements:
- Certification as a Minority or Women Business Enterprise (M/WBE) is encouraged but not mandatory.
- Bidders must submit a completed Equal Employment Opportunity Certification form.
- Bidders must demonstrate good faith efforts to utilize M/WBE subcontractors as outlined in the Subcontractor Utilization Form.
- Compliance with the Illinois Preference Act requiring employment of Illinois-resident workers during times of excessive unemployment is mandatory.
