Background
The City of Moline is issuing this Invitation to Bid for the Strong Communities Program 2 (SCP2) project, which involves disconnects and demolition at 116 36th Street, Moline, IL. The goal of this contract is to facilitate urban improvement through the demolition of structures and associated site work.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:

1. **Demolition**: Obtain a demolition permit from the Moline Building Department and demolish the specified structures, including a residence and garage. All debris must be disposed of properly, adhering to local ordinances regarding demolition and filling requirements. The concrete foundation walls, footings, and flooring must be broken and removed from the site. No materials from the house are to remain on-site or used as fill. If asbestos removal is necessary, it will be noted in the bid documents. The contractor must keep the site adequately wet during demolition to minimize dust.

2. **Disconnects**: Apply for disconnection permits for plumbing and repair sewer and water at mains in the street, including street cutting and patching as required by city regulations.

3. **Site Work**: Blow grass seed and straw mixture onto specified areas post-demolition, ensuring protection of surrounding walks and drives during tacking with asphalt.
