Background
The City of Chicago, through its Department of Planning and Development (DPD), is seeking qualified firms to provide consulting services for the Planning Next Program. The goal of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to identify companies capable of delivering professional services across various scope categories related to urban planning and development. The selected firms will assist the City in achieving its planning objectives, ensuring that all services are performed by licensed professionals adhering to ethical standards.
Work Details
The RFQ encompasses consulting services in seven specific scope categories:
1) Urban Planning and Design,
2) Real Estate Development – Financial Planning and Analysis,
3) Real Estate Development Project Management – Program Administration and Project Oversight,
4) Historic Preservation,
5) Climate Change, Sustainability and Resiliency Planning,
6) Graphic Design and Video,
7) Community Engagement and Outreach.
Respondents must demonstrate their qualifications in the relevant NAICS codes for these categories. Each selected firm will operate under a Master Consulting Agreement (MCA), responding to Task Orders issued by the City as needed.
Period of Performance
The contract will have an initial term of five years (60 months), with an option for the City to extend it for up to three additional years.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed within the City of Chicago.
Bidder Requirements
Respondents must be certified as Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) or Women Business Enterprises (WBE) where applicable. They are required to submit a current MBE/WBE Certification Letter along with their qualifications. Additionally, all respondents must register on the iSupplier vendor portal prior to submission.
