Spaulding Ranch Pathways - Phase I

Background
The City of Boise, Idaho, is issuing a formal bid for the Spaulding Ranch Pathways - Phase I project. The mission of this project is to enhance public infrastructure by installing pathways and related amenities to improve accessibility and community engagement. The goal is to provide safe and functional pathways that meet the needs of the citizens of Boise.

Work Details
The project includes the installation of proposed sidewalks, site furnishings, communication conduit, bio-barrier, striping, and signage. Specific tasks include:
- Removal of existing fence, gates, metal corrugated pipes, and other items.
- Minor site grading, earthwork, and drainage.
- Utility installation including culverts, irrigation sleeving, communication conduit, junction boxes, valve covers, and other utility items.
- Construction of concrete sidewalks.
- Installation of striping and signage.
- Landscape repair.

The contract also includes mobilization to the site, erosion and traffic control measures, demolition work for existing structures, grading for proper drainage and elevation adjustments. Additionally, it covers utility installations as specified in plans and specifications, hardscape installations including concrete sidewalks with root barriers, site amenities such as benches and trash cans, and landscaping with seed mix.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed from April 17, 2025 to May 14, 2025.

The geographic location for this contract is Spaulding Ranch in Boise, Idaho.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with specific licensing requirements for plumbing, HVAC or electrical work if they intend to self-perform these tasks. They must provide valid contractor's license numbers for any subcontractors used for these trades. A bid security in the form of a bid bond or certified check amounting to 5% of the bid is required.
