Background
Idaho’s Department of Parks and Recreation is seeking to procure two snow grooming implements for use in the North and East regions of Idaho. The goal is to enhance the maintenance of snowmobile trails, ensuring safe and enjoyable experiences for outdoor enthusiasts. The solicitation is issued under RFQ 934 for FY25 Grooming Implements.

Work Details
The contractor will provide two grooming implements:

1) Mogul Master XLMBP 16-12 HD AC Series Snowmobile Trail Grooming Implement or equivalent, with specifications including a maximum weight of ~4,200 lbs, length of 16 feet (excluding hitch), width of 12 feet, equipped with features such as 7 spring tripping blades, hydraulic height adjustment, and compatibility with over-snow vehicles (OSVs).

2) Mogul Master MBP 08 Series Multi Blade Planer or equivalent, with specifications including a maximum weight of ~3,850 lbs, length of 10’6” (without hitch), width of 13 feet, equipped with features such as 4 spring tripping blades and hydraulic height adjustment.

Both implements must be delivered FOB Destination to specified locations in Island Park and Sandpoint, Idaho within 120 days after receipt of order.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period is expected to commence upon award. Delivery must occur within 120 days after receipt of order.

Place of Performance
Delivery locations include Island Park, Idaho for the Fremont County groomer and Sandpoint, Idaho for the Bonner County groomer.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide proof of insurance coverage as detailed in the solicitation including Commercial General Liability Insurance with a minimum limit of $1 million per occurrence. Additionally, bidders must ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state laws regarding employment eligibility and may need to submit a W-9 form.
