Request for Quote for Pest Control Services for IDJC

Background
The Idaho Department of Juvenile Corrections (IDJC) is seeking quotes for pest control services to be provided at various Juvenile Correction Centers (JCCs). The goal of this contract is to ensure a safe and pest-free environment for the juveniles housed in these facilities. The IDJC's mission includes maintaining the health and safety of its residents, which necessitates effective pest management.

Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive pest control services at the following JCCs: JCC-Lewiston, JCC-Nampa, and JCC-Saint Anthony. Services include:
- Monthly interior spraying for various pests including carpenter ants, non-wood ants, earwigs, silverfish, small flies, large flies, millipedes, centipedes, mice, spiders, stinging insects, voles, and seasonal pests.
- Annual spraying for wasps inside and outside each building.
- Setting and checking rodent traps monthly inside buildings and every 25 feet around the exterior fence.
- Use of non-toxic chemicals in public areas and food preparation zones.
- Providing written reports on pest issues quarterly upon request.
- Compliance with all federal, state, and local laws regarding pest control.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to last for one year with options for renewal based on performance and funding availability.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at three locations: JCC-Lewiston (Pacific Time Zone), JCC-Nampa (Mountain Time Zone), and JCC-Saint Anthony (Mountain Time Zone).

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must have at least five years of experience providing pest control services to commercial or residential customers. They must also provide evidence of this experience with their quotes. Additionally, vendors are required to obtain liability insurance as specified in Exhibit C – Insurance Requirements.
