Meeker Silicone Roof Coating Services

Background
The Ada County Highway District (ACHD) is seeking a qualified contractor to perform a complete silicone roof coating system at the ACHD Administration Building located at 5800 Meeker Ave., Boise, Idaho. The goal of this project is to extend the roof’s service life and improve overall waterproofing performance. ACHD is responsible for all secondary county and city highways within Ada County, Idaho.

Work Details
The scope of work includes comprehensive surface preparation, flashing and penetration repairs, and the application of a premium silicone coating to restore and waterproof the existing roof structure. Key components include:

1. Surface Preparation: Remove debris, remnants of existing coatings, and deteriorated materials; apply a bleed blocker primer across the entire roof surface.

2. Flashing and Penetration Repair: Seal critical areas using high-performance silicone mastic; apply One Flash silicone putty to all perimeter terminations, roof penetrations, fasteners, drain areas, curbs and flashings, side/end laps, and seams.

3. Silicone Coating Application: Install Uniflex Silicone 44 to achieve a minimum thickness of 32 wet mils using appropriate application methods.

4. Clean-Up: Remove all job-related debris and ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and building codes.

Period of Performance
The contract work is required to be completed by November 30, 2025.

Place of Performance
All work will be performed at the ACHD Administration Building located at 5800 Meeker Ave., Boise, Idaho.

Bidder Requirements
Contractors must provide proof of licensure and relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA). They are also required to submit a comprehensive proposal narrative that demonstrates qualifications for similar projects, including company overview, relevant experience with government agencies, licenses/certifications, key personnel qualifications, and references.
