Lewiston Janitorial Services

Background
The Idaho Department of Labor is issuing this Request For Quote (RFQ) to solicit quotes from qualified firms for janitorial services at its Lewiston Local Office, a facility of 15,938 square feet located at 1158 Idaho Street, Lewiston, ID 83501.

The agency aims to maintain a clean and safe environment through comprehensive janitorial services as the current contract is nearing its end.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide comprehensive janitorial services including daily, weekly, monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, and annual tasks.

Daily tasks include sweeping walk surfaces, mopping and disinfecting restroom floors, cleaning and disinfecting fixtures in restrooms and breakroom, filling supply dispensers, emptying waste receptacles, vacuuming carpeted areas, and cleaning reception counters.

Weekly tasks involve cleaning custodial storage rooms and vacuuming carpets in conference rooms and cubicles.

Monthly tasks include cleaning windowsills and inside/outside office glass.

Bi-monthly services consist of cleaning all exterior windows and edge cleaning carpets.

Quarterly services involve dusting light fixtures and air system vents.

Annual services include cleaning upholstered chairs and performing heavy carpet cleaning. The Contractor must provide all necessary equipment and supplies except for specific items supplied by the agency.

Period of Performance
The contract term will be one year with four optional one-year renewals. Services must commence no later than June 30, 2025.

The services will be performed at the Idaho Department of Labor's Lewiston Local Office located at 1158 Idaho Street, Lewiston, ID 83501.

Bidder Requirements
The Contractor must have been in business for at least five years. All personnel must be background checked and bonded prior to starting work. The Contractor must maintain $1,000,000 in Workers’ Compensation and General Liability Insurance with the State of Idaho as the Certificate Holder.
