Landscaping and Snow Removal Services in Twin Falls, Idaho

Background
The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare is seeking to contract with a qualified vendor to provide landscaping and snow removal services at their offices located at 803 and 823 Harrison St. in Twin Falls, Idaho. This contract aims to ensure the maintenance of the grounds and snow removal during winter months.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing comprehensive landscaping and snow removal services including:

1. General Landscape Maintenance: Lawn mowing, edging, trimming every seven days during the growing season, weed control using herbicides, pruning trees and shrubs, maintaining flower beds, and debris control.

2. Sprinkler System Maintenance: Annual maintenance including spring startups and fall blowouts, head adjustments, backflow testing, and repairs of malfunctioning parts.

3. Specialized Landscape Maintenance: Application of pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers as needed under supervision of a licensed applicator.

4. Spring/Fall Cleanups: Full cleanups including trash removal, dead plant removal, hard edging, and multiple ground cleanups until leaf drop completion.

5. Snow Removal/De-Icing: On-call snow removal services during winter months with specific requirements for timely clearing of pedestrian areas and parking lots based on accumulation levels.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract is anticipated to be five years from July 7, 2025 to June 30, 2030.

The services will be performed at the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare offices located at 803 and 823 Harrison St., Twin Falls, Idaho.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must hold a valid Idaho State Department of Agriculture applicator license for pesticide application. The contractor must also provide proof of insurance including Commercial General Liability Insurance ($1 million per occurrence), Commercial Automobile Liability Insurance ($1 million per accident), Workers Compensation Insurance ($1 million per accident), Pollution Liability Insurance ($1 million), among others as specified in the solicitation.
