ITD Aerial Lift Bucket Trucks

Background
The State of Idaho Transportation Department (ITD), through the Idaho Division of Purchasing (DOP), is seeking bids from qualified vendors for the purchase and delivery of Aerial Lift Bucket Trucks.
This contract aims to enhance ITD's operational capabilities by providing reliable aerial lift equipment that meets specific safety and performance standards.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide Aerial Lift Bucket Trucks that meet the following specifications:
- Each truck must be the latest model from the manufacturer, equipped with necessary parts for complete functionality.
- The trucks must be dielectrically tested and certified to meet ANSI A92.2-2009 standards.
- Stability tests must be conducted, and a weight study must ensure proper weight distribution across axles.
- The trucks must include a hydraulic system operating at 1800 PSI, with emergency backup systems and controls for boom/platform operation.
- Delivery must include two copies of operator’s manuals, parts manuals, and shop manuals in both PDF and paper formats.
- The contractor must provide training on operations, maintenance, and safety within 14 days of acceptance of each truck.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract will be one year, with options to extend for four additional one-year periods, totaling a potential five-year contract duration.

Place of Performance
Delivery locations include various ITD district yards across Idaho: Coeur d’Alene, Lewiston, Boise, Shoshone, Pocatello, and Rigby.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be authorized distributors or manufacturers of the vehicles offered.
They are required to maintain comprehensive insurance coverage including general liability, automobile liability, workers' compensation, and employer's liability insurance as specified in the solicitation.
Bidders must also comply with state laws regarding business operations in Idaho.
