Fairview Park Renovation

Background
The City of Boise, Idaho, is seeking bids for the renovation of existing site amenities at Fairview Park. The project aims to enhance the park facilities located between North 23rd St. and North 24th St. along West Bannock St. This aligns with the city's mission to improve public spaces for community use.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
- Saw cutting, demolition, and removal of existing concrete walk, asphalt paving, retaining wall, playground, tennis courts, basketball court, site furniture, and trees.
- Minor site grading, earthwork, and drainage.
- Utility installation including potable water, electrical service, and future communication conduit.
- Concrete sidewalk and curb repair including van accessible parallel parking.
- Installation of irrigation systems and landscape repair.
- Tree preservation efforts.
- Upgrades and repairs to restrooms including painting, door replacement, ADA compliance updates, installation of mag locks and exterior lighting, polyasparatic flooring installation, ventilation fan installation, and interior lighting replacement.
- Shrub planting as part of landscape enhancements.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed from May 9, 2025 to June 4, 2025.

Place of Performance
Fairview Park located between North 23rd St. and North 24th St. along West Bannock St., Boise, Idaho.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a bid security in the form of a bid bond or certified check amounting to five percent (5%) of the bid amount. Contractors intending to self-perform plumbing, HVAC or electrical work must hold valid licenses as required by Idaho state law.
