Charles F. McDevitt Park Pump Track

Background
The City of Boise's Parks and Recreation Department is initiating a project to construct a pump track at Charles F. McDevitt Park. This project aims to enhance recreational facilities in the park, aligning with the city's mission to meet the needs of its citizens through improved public amenities.

Work Details
The contract involves the construction of a pump track made from asphalt, measuring 300 feet in length and featuring 6 turns, rollers, two wooden wall ride features, and a 'rainbow rail'.

Additionally, the project includes constructing an 8-foot wide, 30-foot long concrete sidewalk and two stormwater sand filter windows. The construction will coincide with other new amenities being developed within McDevitt Park.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed following the prequalification phase, with bids opening on July 23, 2025.

Place of Performance
The construction will take place at Charles F. McDevitt Park located in west Boise, Idaho.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate technical competence including relevant licenses and certifications, experience with similar projects, available non-financial resources, equipment and personnel capabilities, and overall performance history.

Contractors must possess a valid Idaho Public Works license at the time of bid submission. Additionally, bidders are required to provide references for previous asphalt pump track projects valued over $100,000 and ADA accessible concrete walkway projects.
