Background
The State of Idaho's Division of Purchasing, on behalf of the Department of Administration's Security Operations, is issuing this Invitation To Bid (ITB) to solicit bids from qualified firms for the replacement of outdated security cameras.
The Division of Security Operations is responsible for administering the physical security program for state-owned buildings, ensuring safety and mitigating risks to state assets and personnel. The existing security cameras have reached their end of life and require replacement to maintain operational readiness.
Work Details
The contractor will provide, install, program, and commission a total of 104 security cameras and one recording server. The installation will occur at various locations within the Capitol Mall, including:
- Annex Building: 10 Cameras
- PTC Building: 7 Cameras
- LBJ Building: 4 Cameras
- Capitol Building: 51 Cameras
- JRW Building: 4 Cameras
- 608 Parking Garage: 5 Cameras
- Borah Building: 7 Cameras
- Tunnel Building: 8 Cameras
- PKS Building: 8 Cameras.
The contractor must ensure that all installations comply with specifications outlined in Attachment 1, which includes detailed requirements for various types of cameras such as multi-directional vandal-resistant PTZ cameras, IR dome cameras, and network IR dome cameras. Additionally, the contractor must provide a recording server capable of supporting at least 100 cameras with specified performance metrics.
Period of Performance
The delivery of cameras must occur within thirty (30) days from contract award, with all installations completed within sixty (60) days thereafter.
Place of Performance
The work will be performed at multiple locations within the State of Idaho Capitol Mall in Boise, including the Annex Building, PTC Building, LBJ Building, Capitol Building, JRW Building, 608 Parking Garage, Borah Building, Tunnel Building, and PKS Building.
Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be factory-certified manufacturers or authorized dealers with a minimum of five (5) years' experience supplying and installing security camera systems. They are required to submit proof of manufacturer warranty covering repair or replacement due to defective materials or workmanship. Additionally, bidders must provide certificates of insurance as specified in Attachment 2.
