Beverage Vending Service / Sponsorship Program

Background
The City of Meridian is seeking to establish an exclusive beverage service contract with a supplier to provide soda and other beverages at various city parks and facilities. This contract aims to enhance the beverage offerings available to patrons while allowing the supplier to advertise their products within these facilities. The City has multiple parks that serve as venues for community events, sports leagues, and recreational activities, providing significant opportunities for vending and advertising.

Work Details
The contractor will supply one primary cola brand (Coca Cola or Pepsi Cola) along with a variety of other drinks including diet options, caffeine-free soft drinks, water, and sports drinks. The vendor will be responsible for maintaining vending machines at five delivery locations:
- Meridian Homecourt (2 machines)
- Meridian Swimming Pool (1 machine)
- Heroes Park (2 machines)
- Fuller Park (2 machines)
- Settlers Park (1 machine)

The contractor must ensure that any non-functioning equipment is repaired or replaced within 2-3 days of notification from the City. Additionally, the contractor will provide necessary equipment such as menu boards and refrigerated units at various concession stands across the parks. The contract includes a pricing schedule for various beverage products and requires the vendor to offer competitive discounts to city concessionaires.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon execution by both parties and will remain effective until September 30, 2028, unless terminated earlier as specified in the agreement.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various locations within the City of Meridian, Idaho, including parks such as Meridian Homecourt, Settlers Park, Heroes Park, Fuller Park, and Meridian Swimming Pool.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. They are required to maintain liability insurance with specific coverage amounts and provide proof of insurance prior to commencing work. Additionally, all subcontractors must be approved by the City before performing any work.
