Radio and Subscriber Equipment

Background
The Iowa Department of Administrative Services (DAS) is seeking to enter into master agreement(s) with qualified and eligible Respondent(s) to provide pricing for Motorola (or equivalent) Radio and Subscriber Equipment.

The goal of this Request for Bids (RFB) is to solicit bids from qualified providers for the goods and/or services described in the RFB, which will be available to all State Agencies, Political Subdivisions, Universities, etc. The contract resulting from this RFB may be awarded to multiple Respondents and will not guarantee any amount of business throughout its duration.

Work Details
Respondents are required to provide a comprehensive list of radio and subscriber equipment along with catalog pricing. The specific items include:
- APX Next and N Series Portables
- APX Legacy Portables (APX900, APX6000, APX8000)
- APX Mobiles (APX1500, APX4500, APX6500, APX8500)
- AES Encryption/OTAR/OTAP Bundle
- Various radio accessories
- Dispatch consoles
- Mobile video components
- Vehicular repeaters
- RF site equipment
- Critical connect hardware and software
- LTE products and subcomponents
- Astro backhaul services
- Command central components
- Training services including LMS Training and Customized OnSite Training.

Additionally, all warranties from equipment manufacturers must be passed on to the State for a period of one year from acceptance.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract shall be for a two-year period starting upon award. The Agency has the option to renew the contract for up to four additional annual extensions at its discretion.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed within the State of Iowa.
