Background
Iowa State University of Science and Technology (ISU) is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to develop a comprehensive, accessible, and student-centered digital platform for off-campus housing. The platform will facilitate housing searches, roommate matching, and provide educational resources related to off-campus living.

ISU is a public land-grant research university located in Ames, Iowa, with an enrollment of approximately 30,000 students.

Work Details
The contractor will provide a digital platform that includes the following features:
- Intuitive housing search capabilities with filters for rental units, lease lengths, amenities, pet policies, and accessibility features.
- A map-based interface showing property locations and points of interest.
- Robust roommate matching capabilities.
- Sublease listing functionality.
- Secure landlord registration and management tools.
- Support for student events and outreach.
- Dedicated support account management.
- Branding customization for ISU.
- Integration with ISU's Single Sign-On application.
- Mobile-friendly design.
- Scalability to handle increasing user volumes.
- Compliance with IT security and digital accessibility standards.

Period of Performance
The contract term is for one year with optional renewals. The implementation of the system is expected to begin in fall 2025.

The services will be performed at Iowa State University located in Ames, Iowa.

Bidder Requirements
Contractors must comply with insurance requirements including general liability, workers' compensation, professional liability, and cyber liability insurance. They must also conduct background checks on personnel who will have access to personally identifiable information (PII). Additionally, contractors are required to submit a revenue share proposal detailing costs associated with the project.
