East Ridge Drive Manhole Reconstruction; PW25-25

Background
The City of Council Bluffs Public Works Engineering Division is seeking bids for the East Ridge Drive Manhole Reconstruction project. The goal of this contract is to replace a sanitary sewer manhole as part of the city's infrastructure improvement efforts.

Work Details
The major items of work for this project include:
- Replacement of one (1) Sanitary Sewer Manhole approximately 25 vertical feet deep.
- Additional tasks include:
- Remove and replace unsuitable material (130 cubic yards).
- Traffic control measures.
- Hydraulic seeding, fertilizing, and MBFM mulching (1,000 square feet).
- Pavement patching with PCC, 8 inches thick (280 square yards).
- Remove and replace a 5-foot diameter manhole.
- Install two (2) 8-inch PVC sanitary sewer pipe connections to the new manhole.
- Drop-pipe service connection to the manhole (five connections).
- Install five (5) 6-inch PVC sanitary sewer pipe connections to the new manhole.
- Bypass pumping as necessary.

Period of Performance
Work shall not commence prior to March 1, 2026, and must be completed within thirty (30) days of mobilization to the site. All work must be finalized by April 30, 2026.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at East Ridge Drive in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
