Background

The goal of this contract is to procure a comprehensive data analytics solution that enhances operational insight, fan engagement, and business intelligence through a unified data platform.
Work Details
The selected supplier will provide a comprehensive, scalable data analytics solution capable of securely integrating, storing, querying, cleansing, and visualizing data. Specific services include:
1. Data Storage and Management: Implementing a secure platform for data ingestion and query execution; supporting cloud-native or hybrid storage environments; ensuring all raw and processed data remain owned by Iowa Athletics.
2. Data Integration: Integrating existing and future data sources including ticketing (Paciolan), CRM (Salesforce), marketing systems, etc.; providing monitoring and notifications for integration success or failure.
3. Analytics and Visualization: Developing dashboards tailored for leadership insights; supporting predictive analytics such as attendance forecasting.
4. Master Data Management: Implementing logic to identify and merge duplicate records; maintaining audit logs for changes.
5. Compliance, Security, and Governance: Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations; providing multi-factor authentication and encryption.
6. Documentation and Training: Maintaining a knowledge repository; providing end-user training for staff.
7. Innovation: Adapting to the evolving landscape of collegiate athletics with ongoing innovation in analytics.
Period of Performance
The initial duration of the contract will be one year from the effective date of the agreement, with potential extensions for up to four additional one-year periods based on mutual consent.

The services will be performed at the University of Iowa located in Iowa City, Iowa.
Bidder Requirements
Suppliers must demonstrate proven success in data integration and analytics within higher education or enterprise-scale environments. They must meet University of Iowa Information Security requirements and obtain SOC 2 Type II certification within one year of award.
