Correctional Medical Services

Background
The State of Iowa is seeking proposals from qualified Respondents to provide comprehensive medical services for incarcerated individuals and forensic hospital patients. This initiative aims to ensure high-quality healthcare services in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and standards of care across the nine Iowa Department of Corrections (IDOC) prison facilities.

Work Details
The selected Respondent will be responsible for delivering a range of medical services including:
- Comprehensive medical care for incarcerated individuals
- Health screenings for employees
- Emergency health response for employees
- Other necessary medical services.

The services must adhere to all relevant healthcare standards.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to continue until the end of the specified term outlined in the RFP. The close date for proposals is set for September 26, 2025.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the nine Iowa Department of Corrections (IDOC) prison facilities located throughout the State of Iowa.

Bidder Requirements
