ASP Tuckpointing

Background
The Iowa Department of Administrative Services is issuing a solicitation for bids to perform repointing, repairs, cleaning, and sealing of stone around various buildings at the Anamosa State Penitentiary located in Anamosa, Iowa.

The project aims to maintain and enhance the structural integrity and aesthetic appearance of the buildings within the penitentiary. The anticipated construction start date is July 17, 2025, with completion expected by January 15, 2026.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Repointing of stonework
- Repairs to existing stone structures
- Cleaning of stone surfaces
- Sealing of stone to protect against moisture and weather damage.

Additionally, bidders are required to provide a bid security amounting to 5% of the total bid amount. All bidders must be registered contractors in Iowa and possess a valid Iowa Contractor Registration Number.
