Background
The State of Iowa is seeking qualified bidders to provide access control products, services, installation, and ongoing support for access control, security, and camera systems at state-owned and leased locations throughout Iowa.
The goal of this contract is to ensure centralized control, monitoring, data collection, and optimization of access control and security systems.
Work Details
The contract will cover the provision of access control goods and services under an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) framework. Bidders are required to furnish labor, materials, equipment, supervision, testing, and incidentals for task orders issued under this agreement.
Individual task orders will specify work locations, quantities, schedules, and deliverables. The contract includes compliance with Iowa Code chapters 26 and 573 for any public improvements. All design work must be performed by the Design and Construction Resources Bureau or a third party as the state does not allow a design-build approach.
Bidders may submit bids for one or multiple brand-name line items.
