Background
The Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR), Division of Forestry and Wildlife, Oahu District is seeking quotations for the procurement of three full-sized Wildland Fire Brush Trucks.
The goal of this contract is to enhance firefighting capabilities in the region, ensuring that the agency can effectively respond to wildfires and protect natural resources.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide three new Brush Trucks, specifically Ford F550 or similar models, with detailed specifications including:
- Chassis: Four-door crew cab, two axle drive 4x4, diesel engine with 300HP and 700 ft lbs torque, heavy-duty transmission, and various features such as automatic windows and door controls.
- Tires: Four super single front and rear mud terrain tires (size 335/80R20 22PR) plus one spare tire.
- Chassis lift kit to raise the vehicle by 3 inches.
- Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) not exceeding 18,000 pounds.
- Rustproofing on the underbody, heavy-duty bumpers, mud flaps, skid plates for protection, retractable cab steps, and a light bar with external speaker.
- Toolboxes constructed from aluminum diamond plate material with specific dimensions and features.
- Fire pump specifications include a medium pressure pump with electric primer and various hose connections.
- Water tank capacity of 300 gallons made from polypropylene with internal baffles and foam cell.
- Compliance with NFPA standards for firefighting equipment.
- Installation of LED identification lights, working lights around the vehicle perimeter, back-up alarm and camera system.
- Operational testing of fire pump components and road testing of the apparatus under load conditions.
- Warranty provisions for both tank/pump and truck components.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed upon issuance of a purchase order until delivery of the completed vehicles to the designated location.

Place of Performance
The delivery point for the Brush Trucks is Oahu DOFAW Baseyard located at 2135 Makiki Heights Drive, Honolulu, HI 96822.
