WIC SA Flooring

Background
The State of Hawaii, Department of Health (DOH), WIC Services Branch (WIC) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide and install flooring for their downtown office.

The goal of this contract is to enhance the durability, aesthetic, and functionality of the space through the installation of high-durability flooring materials and professional services.

Work Details
The selected vendor will be responsible for:
- Conducting site assessments to determine flooring needs.
- Providing product recommendations, including samples.
- Supplying flooring materials.
- Removing and disposing of existing flooring per industry standards.
- Providing finishing touches such as baseboards and transitions.
- Ensuring compliance with safety and building codes.
- Offering a warranty on products and installation.

Project requirements include total square footage as per the attached floor plan, flooring types such as indoor/outdoor carpet comparable to existing carpet, carpet squares, and plank vinyl. Vendors must also provide access to the site during weekdays from 7:45 AM to 4:30 PM.

Period of Performance
The contract period will extend until March 21, 2025, with a potential award extension of an additional three months.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at 235 South Beretania Street, Suite 701, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813.
