Water Infrastructure Improvements, Wahiawa, Oahu

Background
The Agribusiness Development Corporation (ADC) of the State of Hawaii is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB-25-200-001) for Water Infrastructure Improvements in Wahiawa, Oahu.

The ADC's mission is to enhance the agricultural sector and improve infrastructure related to agribusiness. The goal of this contract is to furnish and install ductile iron pipe to improve the water line in Wahiawa, ensuring reliable water infrastructure for the community.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for furnishing and installing ductile iron pipe, which includes all labor, equipment, and other incidentals necessary to satisfactorily complete the improvements to the water line.

Specific tasks include:
1. Mobilization and demobilization of equipment.
2. Installation of 154 linear feet of 8-inch ductile iron (DI) pipe.
3. Installation of 58 linear feet of 4-inch DI pipe.
4. Installation of 53 linear feet of 2.5-inch copper lateral.
5. Installation of cathodic protection for the DI water line.
6. Trench excavation without classification, including backfill and pipe cushion for water mains.
7. Repaving trenches with AC pavement and reinforced concrete pavement.
8. Installation of Type III and Type IV meter boxes.
9. Furnishing and installation of gate valves (8-inch and 4-inch) and valve boxes.
10. Erosion and sediment control measures, traffic control, and additional work as approved by ADC.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of three months from the official notice to proceed, with an option for extension if mutually agreed upon in writing at least thirty days prior to termination.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed in Wahiawa, Oahu, Hawaii.
