Description

Furnish and pay for all materials, tools, equipment, labor and other incidental work to complete maintenance dredging of the entrance channel and basin at Wailoa Small Boat Harbor, Hilo, Island of Hawaii, Hawaii as required or called for in this Proposal, all according to the true intent and meaning of the Notice to Bidders, Information and Instructions to Bidders, Proposal, Technical Specifications, Interim General Conditions, Plans, Permitting Documents, and any and all addenda related to this solicitation.
Background
The State of Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources, Division of Boating and Ocean Recreation, Engineering Branch is seeking proposals for the Wailoa Small Boat Harbor Maintenance Dredging project. The project involves maintenance dredging of the entrance channel and basin at Wailoa Small Boat Harbor, Hilo, Island of Hawaii, Hawaii.

Work Details
The work includes furnishing and paying for all materials, tools, equipment, labor, and other incidental work to complete maintenance dredging. This includes dredging 25,000 cubic yards (CY) and any excess dredging beyond 25,000 CY.

The work also involves mobilization and demobilization, sediment sampling program as required by the State of Hawaii Department of Health, Solid and Hazardous Waste Branch, and placing a project sign in place complete.

Period of Performance
The contract requires completion of all work within 180 consecutive calendar days from the date of written notice to proceed.

The project will be performed at Wailoa Small Boat Harbor, Hilo, Island of Hawaii, Hawaii.
