Waiahole Valley Water System Operations And Maintenance

Background
The Hawaii Housing Finance and Development Corporation (HHFDC) is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB No. 25-004-DEV) for the operation and maintenance of the potable water system serving Waiahole Valley, located in Kaneohe, Oahu, Hawaii. The goal of this contract is to ensure ongoing operations and necessary repairs to maintain the functionality of the water system.

Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive operations and maintenance services for the Waiahole Valley Water System. This includes:
- Routine maintenance and operational oversight of the potable water system.
- Necessary repairs to ensure continuous operation.
- Compliance with all applicable regulations and standards related to water system management.
- Submission of certified payrolls for all laborers employed on the job, ensuring compliance with prevailing wage laws as per Chapter 104, HRS.
- Preparation and implementation of a written safety and health plan as required under HRS 396-18 for projects exceeding $100,000.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence on April 15, 2025, following the award notification on April 1, 2025. The duration of the contract will be specified in the final agreement but will cover ongoing operations as needed.
