Tree Maintenance Services on Oahu for the HIDOE

Background
The Hawaii State Department of Education (HIDOE) is seeking proposals for tree maintenance services across various schools and offices located on the Island of Oahu, specifically within the Central District.
The goal of this contract is to ensure the health and safety of trees in educational environments, which is crucial for maintaining a safe and conducive learning atmosphere.

Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive tree maintenance services, which include but are not limited to: tree pruning, tree removal, stump grinding, and overall tree health assessments.
These services will be performed at multiple school sites with a total of 3,826 trees listed for maintenance.
Specific schools include Major General William R. Shafter Elementary, Moanalua High School, and Mililani High School among others.
The contractor must ensure compliance with all applicable laws regarding worker safety and wage standards.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to continue until all specified services are completed or until April 22, 2025, unless otherwise amended.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various schools and offices throughout the Island of Oahu in the Central District.
