Termite Tenting for Kula Elementary - P1, P5 & P7

Background
The State of Hawaii, through the Department of Accounting and General Services, is issuing this solicitation for termite fumigation services at Kula Elementary School. The Department of Education will fund and provide purchase orders for this project. The goal is to ensure that the school buildings are free from drywood termite infestations, thereby maintaining a safe and conducive learning environment.

Work Details
The contractor is required to furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supplies necessary for termite fumigation (tent) treatment for the following portable classrooms at Kula Elementary: P-1, P-5, and P-7. The contractor must adhere to Specification Section 10291 and ensure that workmanship, materials, and treatment effectiveness are guaranteed for one year from the date of project acceptance.

A copy of Fumiscope Readings must be submitted showing dosage adjustments made during treatment. Tenting must be scheduled during school breaks, weekends, or holidays with prior approval from school administration at least three weeks in advance. The contractor is responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding pest control.

Period of Performance
All work must be completed by December 19, 2025.

Place of Performance
Kula Elementary School Complex located at 5000 Kula Hwy, Kula, HI 96790.

Bidder Requirements
The contractor must be a licensed pest control operator in accordance with Hawaii State Pest Control Board regulations. All fumigation work must comply with federal, state, and local laws affecting the conduct of the work.
