Supportive Housing at the Iwilei Resource Center

Background
The Adult Mental Health Division of the State of Hawaii's Department of Health is seeking proposals for supportive housing services aimed at adults facing challenges related to homelessness, mental health issues, and co-occurring disorders.

The goal is to provide a structured environment that fosters recovery and improves the quality of life for these individuals. This initiative is part of the Division's broader mission to coordinate public and private human services into an integrated system that effectively addresses mental health needs.

Work Details
The selected provider will deliver supportive housing services at the Iwilei Resource Center located on Oahu. Services include:
1. Providing affordable housing options for adults aged 18 and older who are experiencing homelessness or mental health challenges.
2. Offering supportive services designed to facilitate recovery, enhance functioning, and improve life satisfaction.
3. Implementing a service delivery model that emphasizes consumer empowerment and skill development.
4. Ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and county regulations, including obtaining necessary licenses and accreditations within one year of contract award.
5. Monitoring service quality through performance measures such as consumer satisfaction, employment/education rates, and transitions of care.

Period of Performance
The contract term is expected to commence on February 1, 2025, and conclude on January 31, 2026.

Services will be provided at the Iwilei Resource Center located at 806 Iwilei Road, Honolulu, Hawaii 96817.
