Description

Background
The City and County of Honolulu, through its Department of Facility Maintenance (DFM) Storm Water Quality Division (SWQ), is seeking a Contractor to provide inspections and evaluations of City storm drain lines, manholes, culverts, and inlets.
The goal is to gather data that will assist in planning future repair or rehabilitation projects and to establish an inventory of the City’s existing storm water assets.

Work Details
The Contractor shall perform the following tasks:
1. Inspect, clean, evaluate, and assess the condition of City storm drain lines, catch basins, inlets, manholes, and box culverts across the Island of Oahu.
2. Compile information for integration into the SWQ’s Cityworks database.
3. Identify and prioritize areas needing repair.
4. Provide emergency private wastewater spill cleaning response as needed.
All work must comply with applicable Federal, State, City laws, rules, ordinances, and regulations.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a specified term as outlined in Appendix B: Term/Schedule of Work.

Place of Performance
The work will be conducted throughout the Island of Oahu.

Bidder Requirements
Contractors must have NASSCO certification for project staff performing assessments and comply with Hawaii Compliance Express (HCE) registration prior to contract award.
