Background
This Request for Information (RFI No. 22010) is issued by the State Procurement Office seeking general information from potential vendors for category listings in preparation for disasters, to include but not limited to hurricanes, tidal wave, tsunami, earthquakes in the State of Hawaii.
The State Procurement Office's mission, alongside the Hawaii Emergency Management Agency, is to create a Disaster Preparedness online site that offers guidance, templates and forms on what procurement requirements are necessary during and after a disaster.

Work Details
The RFI is seeking information on various contingency categories such as emergency staffing, recovery staffing, fuel provision, water supply including purification units, food supply including prepared meals and bulk commodities, logistics management, emergency road clearing equipment, charter air services for damage assessments and cargo/people transportation, sea and road cargo movement, base camp support, mass feeding, generators provision, infrastructure repair services for water pumping stations, bridges and piers, disaster housing construction services, container transportation and handling services, material handling services including warehouse staffing and unmanned aircraft systems for damage and impact assessments.

Period of Performance
The due date for vendor information submission is revised to May 31, 2023. The new vendor list will be posted on the State Procurement Office website for the 2023 Hawaii hurricane season that runs from June 1 to November 30, 2023.

Place of Performance
The products/services may be needed on any and/or all of the populated islands of the State of Hawaii (Oahu, Maui, Hawaii, Kauai, Molokai, and Lanai).
