Background
The Hawaii State Hospital is seeking a contract for the service and maintenance of security electronics, detention equipment, and commercial security doors and hardware at the New Patient Facility located on its grounds. This initiative aims to enhance the safety and security infrastructure of the facility, which is crucial for its operations in mental health care.

Work Details
The contractor will provide technical onsite support to troubleshoot and repair issues with the security electronics system. Services include:
- 24/7 technical support for controls.
- Local technician for emergency support.
- Staff training.
- Administration oversight.
- Technical site investigation and reporting.
- 24/7 remote technical support.

Specific tasks include:
- Inspections of Human Machine Interface (HMI) and Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) systems.
- Minor programming adjustments to current software configurations.
- Regular system health audits.
- Preventive maintenance tasks such as verifying touchscreen control stations, inspecting CCTV cameras, checking alarm functionalities, and maintaining detention equipment.
- Daily reporting to Plant Operations.

Contractors must ensure that all personnel meet specific qualifications including valid licenses and certifications in relevant fields.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed for one year from the date of award, with potential extensions not exceeding four additional years upon mutual agreement.

Services will be provided at the Hawaii State Hospital located at 45-710 Kea'ahala Road, Kaneohe, Hawaii 96744.
