Rehabilitation of Localized Streets, Phase 24C

Background
The City and County of Honolulu is seeking competitive sealed bids for the Rehabilitation of Localized Streets, Phase 24C, under the Department of Design and Construction.

The estimated cost for this project is $5,000,000.00. This project aims to enhance the infrastructure by rehabilitating various streets in Mililani Mauka, Oahu, Hawaii.

Work Details
The project includes a variety of construction activities such as:
- Cold planing
- Resurfacing and reconstruction of asphalt concrete pavements
- Adjustment of utility manhole and handhole frames and covers
- Installation of pavement markings and vehicle loop detectors
- Reconstruction of existing concrete sidewalks, curbs, and/or gutters
- Arboricultural work.

Specific streets involved include Ahohui Street, Ahoka Place, Ahoka Street, Hoakula Street, among others. Additional work items may include tree root pruning, tree removal, installation of new signs, vehicle detector loops, as well as mobilization and various adjustments related to existing utilities.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to be completed within 545 consecutive calendar days from the official commencement date indicated in the Notice to Proceed (NTP), which is anticipated to be issued within 365 calendar days following contract execution.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed in Mililani Mauka, Oahu, Hawaii.
