Parking Structure at Ualena Street, HNL

Background
The Hawaii Department of Transportation (HDOT), Airports is seeking qualified general engineering firms to provide construction management services for the design-build of the Parking Structure at Ualena Street, HNL project at the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport.

The project aims to enhance parking facilities to accommodate both employee and public needs, integrating modern features such as solar panels and electric vehicle charging stations.

Work Details
The project involves the design-build of a multi-level parking structure with approximately 5,200 parking stalls located near Ualena Street and Paiea Street.

Key features include:
- Accommodations for solar panels and electric vehicle charging stations
- Office spaces within the facility
- Elevators and life safety systems
- Lighting and telecommunication systems
- A new shuttle bus station
- Roadway modifications and traffic signal improvements
- Signage and landscaping.

Additionally, work will include demolition of existing structures, underground infrastructure, and hazardous material abatement.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a completion time of approximately 1,825 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed, with an overall performance period of 5 years.
