Maintenance And Repairs For Various Grill Gates

Background
The Department of Accounting and General Services, Automotive Management Division (AMD) is issuing this solicitation for the maintenance and repairs of various grill gates located at multiple state facilities in Hawaii. The goal is to ensure the proper functioning and longevity of these grill gates, which are essential for security and access control at state parking facilities.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, and supervision necessary for maintenance services at the following locations:

- Lot A – Makai Garage
- Lot G - Kalanimoku Building
- Lot I - State Office Tower
- Lot J - Circuit Court Building
- Lot P - Multi-deck Structure
- Lot R - Multi-deck Structure
- Lot S - State Capitol
- Lot T - District Court Building
- Lot V - Vineyard Street Garage.

Maintenance includes cleaning the grill gates using environmentally acceptable products, lubricating moving parts, checking safety devices, correcting electrical issues, and ensuring all components are functioning properly. Maintenance must be performed during normal working hours unless otherwise authorized. The contractor must also respond to trouble calls within 24 hours and provide a schedule of maintenance services at least one month prior to execution.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence from the official date on the Notice to Proceed but no earlier than September 30, 2024. The initial term is for twelve (12) months with the possibility of four (4) additional twelve-month extensions upon mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at various locations in Honolulu, Hawaii including state parking facilities such as garages and court buildings.
