Background
The Lahaina Small Boat Harbor Comfort Station Fire Damage Repair project is issued by the State of Hawaii's Department of Land and Natural Resources, specifically through the Division of Boating and Ocean Recreation. The mission of this project is to restore and repair facilities at the Lahaina Small Boat Harbor following fire damage, ensuring that the harbor can continue to serve its purpose for boating and ocean recreation activities in Maui, Hawaii.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for furnishing and paying for all materials, tools, equipment, labor, and other incidental work necessary to complete the following tasks:

1) Replace restroom fixtures including sinks, urinals, toilets;
2) Install new partitions;
3) Upgrade lighting;
4) Lay new flooring;
5) Conduct painting;
6) Perform electrical work including replacement of fire-damaged equipment, wiring, conduits, light fixtures, receptacles, switches;
7) Repair sewer lines including investigation and repair work such as camera inspection, sawcutting asphalt pavement, excavation to locate sewer line breaks or obstructions, clearing obstructions;
8) Complete any additional unforeseen work as directed by the Engineer.

All work must adhere to the plans and specifications provided in the solicitation documents.

Period of Performance
The contract must be fully completed within 30 consecutive calendar days from the date of written notice to proceed.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Lahaina Small Boat Harbor located in Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a valid State Contractor's license classified as either 'A' or 'B'. Additionally, bidders are required to comply with various state regulations including obtaining a tax clearance certificate from the Hawaii State Department of Taxation and a certificate of compliance from the Department of Labor. Bidders must also provide proof of compliance with requirements under HRS §103D-310(c), which can be obtained through Hawaii Compliance Express (HCE).
