Interpretation and Translation Services

Background
The City and County of Honolulu is seeking to procure Interpretation and Translation Services through solicitation number RFB-PAT-1811305. The goal of this contract is to provide essential language services to facilitate communication across various languages for the city's operations, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity for all residents and visitors.

Work Details
The contractor will provide interpretation and translation services in multiple languages as specified in the solicitation. Services include:

1. Scheduled Interpreter Sessions:
- Base Session Charge (up to 2 hours per session)
- Additional Session Charge (for sessions exceeding 2 hours, billed in 15-minute increments)
- Cancellation Charge

2. On-Demand Interpreter Sessions (available 24/7):
- Base Session Charge (up to 2 hours per session)
- Additional Session Charge (for sessions exceeding 2 hours, billed in 15-minute increments)
- Cancellation Charge

3. Written Translation Services: Offerors must confirm their capability to provide written translation services.
4. Specialty Interpreter Services: Offerors must confirm their capability to source specialty interpreter services.

Languages required include but are not limited to: Cantonese, Chuukese, Ilocano, Japanese, Korean, Laotian, Mandarin, Marshallese, Spanish, Tagalog, Thai, Vietnamese, Arabic, Bulgarian, Burmese, French, German, Palauan, Persian, Pohnpeian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Samoan, Taiwanese, Tongan, Turkish, Visayan, Yapese.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed within the City and County of Honolulu.

Bidder Requirements
