Background
The project involves the construction of the 'HILO MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE FENCING IMPROVEMENTS,' located in Por. of Waiākea Homesteads, South Hilo, Hawai‘i. The installation of new chain link fencing and related work is required in accordance with the plans and specifications. Prospective bidders must possess a valid State of Hawai‘i, General Engineering Contractor’s License “A” to be eligible to submit a bid.

Work Details
The project generally consists of the installation of new chain link fencing and all related work in accordance with the plans and specifications. Prospective bidders must file their 'Intent to Bid' with the Director of Public Works no later than ten calendar days prior to the bid opening date.
The original executed and notarized Standard Qualification Questionnaire for Offerors form 'SQQO' must be received by the Administration Office, Department of Public Works, no less than forty-eight hours prior to the bid opening.
The bid opening and pre-bid meeting(s) required for this project are scheduled at venues accessible to persons with disabilities.

Period of Performance
Electronic sealed bids will be received until 2:00 p.m., Hawai‘i Standard Time, on May 2, 2024. The Director reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. No bidder may withdraw its bid after the hour set for the opening thereof or before the award of the contract, unless said award is delayed for a period exceeding NINETY (90) consecutive calendar days.
