H1D-01-24C(2R) Maintenance Of Landscaped Areas & Irrigation Sys.

Background
The State of Hawaii, through its Department of Transportation, is seeking bids for the maintenance of landscaped areas and the inspection of irrigation systems at the Waiawa Interchange in the District of Ewa on the Island of Oahu.
This contract aims to ensure that the landscaped areas are properly maintained and that the irrigation systems are functioning effectively, contributing to the overall aesthetic and environmental quality of the highway right-of-way.

Work Details
The scope of work includes furnishing all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary for:
1. Maintenance of designated landscaped areas including planter boxes within the highway right-of-way.
2. Regular inspection and maintenance of the irrigation system to ensure proper functionality.
3. Replacement of plants that die due to irrigation failure or other causes as specified in the contract.
4. Compliance with all relevant specifications and standards outlined in the contract documents, including adherence to safety regulations and timely performance.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon issuance of a Notice to Proceed and is expected to continue through a specified term as outlined in the contract documents.
Ongoing maintenance responsibilities will be required throughout this period.

The work will be performed at the Waiawa Interchange located in the District of Ewa on the Island of Oahu.
