Furnish and Deliver Various Heavy Equipment

Background
The Department of Facility Maintenance (DFM) of the City & County of Honolulu, Hawaii, is seeking competitive sealed bids for the furnishing and delivery of various heavy equipment.
The goal of this contract is to procure equipment that meets or exceeds the city's minimum requirements for flood control prevention and maintenance of waterways.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish and deliver heavy equipment as specified in the solicitation. The equipment includes:
1. Track Loader (Caterpillar Model 973C LGP or approved substitute) - 2 units.
- Operating Weight: 71,200 lbs
- Diesel engine with 275 net horsepower
- Hydrostatic transmission with five forward and five reverse speeds
- Must include safety features, maintenance manuals, and warranty provisions.

2. Track Bulldozer (Caterpillar D7, Komatsu D85PX-18, John Deere P-Tier 950 or approved substitute) - 1 unit.
- Maximum Operating Weight: 70,000 lbs
- Diesel engine with 264 net horsepower
- Hydrostatic transmission with three speeds forward and reverse.

3. Track Bulldozer (Caterpillar D3, Komatsu D39PX-24, John Deere P-Tier 650 or approved substitute) - 1 unit.
- Maximum Operating Weight: 23,000 lbs
- Diesel engine with 104 net horsepower
- Hydrostatic transmission with three speeds forward and reverse.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon the Notice to Proceed (NTP). Delivery is required within 360 calendar days from that date.

Place of Performance
Delivery location is at the Department of Facility Maintenance, Division of Automotive Equipment Service, Halawa Corporation Yard, 99-999 Iwaena Street, Aiea, HI 96701.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be registered as compliant on the State of Hawaii Compliance Express System prior to contract award. They must also provide proof of a licensed service and repair facility on Oahu authorized by the vehicle manufacturer to perform warranty work.
