Furnish and Deliver Replacement Clarifier Systems

Background
The City and County of Honolulu's Department of Environmental Services is seeking to procure replacement clarifier systems for the Laie Water Reclamation Facility (WRF). The goal of this contract is to furnish and deliver systems that will effectively remove settleable suspended solids from the waste stream as part of the secondary treatment process at the facility.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish and deliver replacement clarifier systems, which may include Drive Units, Influent Systems, Sludge Collection Systems, Scum Skimming Systems, and Effluent Systems. The specifications include:

1. **29’ Diameter Clarifier System**:
- Brand Name: WesTech
- Model Number: CLS25
- Components include:
- 2 Drive Units with specific torque and motor specifications.
- Influent System with a feed well and pipe.
- Sludge Collection System with center shaft and rake arms.
- Scum Skimming System with skimmer blades and assembly.
- Effluent System with weir panels and baffle panels.

2. **36’ Diameter Clarifier System**:
- Brand Name: WesTech
- Model Number: CLS25
- Components include:
- 1 Drive Unit with specified torque and motor specifications.
- Sludge Collection System similar to the 29’ system.
- Scum Skimming System similar to the 29’ system.

All components must be made of 316 Stainless Steel where applicable. The contractor is responsible for ensuring compatibility with existing systems without requiring modifications to surrounding structures. A warranty period of one year against factory defects is required.

Period of Performance
Delivery must be made FOB destination within 150 calendar days from the Official Commencement Date indicated in the Notice to Proceed (NTP).

Place of Performance
City and County of Honolulu, specifically at the Laie Wastewater Reclamation Facility located at 55-280 Kamehameha Highway, Laie, Hawaii 96762.

Bidder Requirements
The successful bidder must be registered as 'Compliant' on the State of Hawaii Compliance Express System or provide required tax clearances and certificates prior to contract award. The contractor must ensure that all modifications or customizations made to meet specifications do not affect product quality or operation.
