Background
The City and County of Honolulu's Department of Emergency Services is seeking bids for the furnishing and delivery of red pickup trucks. This initiative aims to enhance the capabilities of the Honolulu Emergency Services Department, particularly for extended hours lifeguard service.

Work Details
The contractor is required to furnish and deliver red pickup trucks that meet specific technical and performance specifications. The key requirements include:

1. Model: New, current production year or later.
2. Type: Extended cab 4-door; 4-wheel drive (4WD), SRW, with film-tinted sliding rear-view window if available.
3. GVWR: Minimum 6,025 lbs., Maximum 8,200 lbs.
4. Payload Capacity: Minimum 2,000 lbs.
5. Engine: Minimum 5.0 liter displacement; gas or alternative fuel engine offering equivalent performance.
6. Cargo Bed: Length of 76 inches with standard tie downs and Rhino Lining coating.
7. Seating: Standard vinyl bench/split seat with Wet Okole brand seat covers for three positions.
8. Transmission: Manufacturer's standard 4-speed automatic with overdrive and a differential ratio close to 3.73:1.
9. Safety features including anti-lock brakes, hydraulic steering, and compliance with FMVSS standards.
10. Additional equipment such as emergency lights (Whelen model), siren systems, towing provisions, and rust preventative treatment are also specified.

Period of Performance
Delivery must be completed within 360 calendar days from the date indicated in the Notice to Proceed (NTP).
